She earned a lot of praises from the netizens as she actually received two recognition medals during her moving up ceremony last April 4 held in Mother Theresa School at General Trias Cavite.

She shared on her social media account a photo of her wearing a white graduation toga, a graduation cap, and two medals. The 14-year old singer is actually prioritizing her studies more than her career in singing. Lyca Jane Epe Gairanod is a 14-year old child singer, actress, performer, and endorser. She was hailed as the grand winner of The Voice Kids Philippines first season.

The young singer wanted to be a teacher someday because she wanted to help other children to have a proper education despite their poverty. She also shared how committed she is in achieving her dream course.

She also went viral because of her rendition of the song “Havana” in the ABS-CBN’s morning program Umagang Kay Ganda. She actually surpasses Darren Espanto and Juan Karlos Labajo in The Voice K Philippines.

Her story was indeed an inspiring one too much Filipino youths who was like her trying to prioritize her studies first before anything else. It was indeed true that entering show business industry is a once in a lifetime opportunity but pursuing one’s dream will definitely put you on the right track.
