Actor Donates 300k Pesos To A Grab Driver To Pay Hospital Bills

We Filipinos have our own ways of helping the people around us especially those who are in need. Many people often remind us that it is always better to give than to receive. The fact that you had been able to extend help to other people means that you are blessed and capable of giving what you actually possess. As much as other people didn’t want to ask help from others, maybe they just do not have any other choices at that time but to seek help from other people.

Recently, there had been a viral post about this Grab driver who told a story about Jerome Ponce’s good deed for him. A Twitter user known as @angelbanqs shared on social media the story a Grab driver had told them as she was riding on his car together with her companions. The driver said that actor Jerome Ponce was his employer before who helped him when he was hospitalized. He said that the actor gave him P300,000 the pay for his hospital bills. He even shared that there are also other celebrities who had extended their help and they are Loisa Andalio, Janella Salvador and Joshua Garcia.

Many netizens were amazed and astounded with how these young celebrities helped the Grab driver. The post actually earned a countless number of praises, reactions, and comments from the netizens. Even their respective fans and supporters could not help but be proud of their admired celebrities.

Joseph Jerome Gapido Porciuncula better known as Jerome Ponce is a 23-year old actor and model. He rose to prominence as he had portrayed as Luke Andrew Lim in the hit Philippine daytime series “Be Careful With My Heart” and as Lorenzo 'Enzo' Buenavidez in “The Good Son”.  He is also an SK Chairman of Barangay 628 in Santa Mesa, Manila. He finished high school in Malayan High School of Science in Pandacan, Manila but he chose to postpone his studies for his career. His late father Jesus Porciuncula Jr. was related to the veteran character actor Lauro Delgado or Loreto Porciuncula in real life of Premiere Productions.
