A Twitter user known as @angelbanqs shared on social media the story a Grab driver had told them as she was riding on his car together with her companions. The driver said that actor Jerome Ponce was his employer before who helped him when he was hospitalized. He said that the actor gave him P300,000 the pay for his hospital bills. He even shared that there are also other celebrities who had extended their help and they are Loisa Andalio, Janella Salvador and Joshua Garcia.

His late father Jesus Porciuncula Jr. was related to the veteran character actor Lauro Delgado or Loreto Porciuncula in real life of Premiere Productions.
