Despite how the media labelled one personality, it would be very hard to maintain such image if your heart is not on it. Like what happened to the 2008 FHM’s top Women in the World, Megan Fox.
Megan Fox had her big break when she starred on the first two installments of the Transformers in 2007 and 2009. She had become every man’s fantasy for her gorgeous body.
But little did we know, her character portrayed was against to Megan’s true character/ Megan Fox attended Catholic School in her younger years and she has strict parents who does not allow her to party and have a relationship at a young age.
During her audition for the Transformers film, Michael Bay, the director, asked her to audition by washing his Ferrari on his driveway. Asking her to look sexy in front of the camera, where this harassment continued while on the set of the Transformers. Megan tried to talk about how the real character should be played, but the director insisted that she should maintain her image of being sexy and hot.
Even her leading man on cam, Shia LaBeouf also observed how Megan is uncomfortable of the role given to her, on his statement, “this is a girl (Megan) who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America.”
She might have had her big break on the two films, but she chose to be sane, and portrayed who she really is. “My biggest regret is that I’ve assisted the media in making me into a cartoon character.”
“I’m not willing to give my true self up.. The reality is, I’m hidden amongst all the insanity. Nobody can find me.” And so, she left from filming and started to make a name for herself. Though being herself and being outspoken gave her a hard time in landing some roles in Hollywood. But she had been more certain on roles she takes which is she is passionate about.
She also started to settle with her long-time boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, get married and are blessed with three kids. She also has a travel show, where she is the host, visiting historic and ancient sites, and discover more what is in it.She gained more respect and love from people for being who she is.
