Will Liza Soberano Return as Darna ?


There are spreading rumors about Liza Soberano portraying the role of Darna once again. Recently, Ogie Diaz, her talent manager told her that a lot of her fans are still hoping for her fast recovery for her to be able to portray the iconic role of Darna.

But the young actress finally spoke up the truth behind the speculations that she will still be portraying Darna. She revealed that as much as she wanted to she doesn’t want to delay the film anymore because the producers needed to start the shooting of the film as soon as possible.

The young actress also revealed that whenever she’s out of the country she loves eating “sinigang” and she that she eats different kinds of “sinigang” in different countries. She had also answered about the rumors of her break-up with Enrique Gil. She explained that they are still very much together and that they had constant communication via video chat. As now, she is still recovering and taking up medications for her bone infection so that the operation can already be done on her injured finger.




She had also thanked those people who are still praying for her fast recovery. And for her fans and supporters who never gets tired of believing in her and praying for her to get well soon.

Liza Soberano also known as  Hope Elizabeth Soberano was born on January 4, 1998. She is a 21-year-old Filipino-American actress. She started her acting career in a couple of television series and films, including Wansapanataym in 2011, Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo in 2012, She's the One in 2013, and Must Be Love in 2013. She rose to fame after portraying the protagonist role in the romantic comedy television series Forevermore from 2014 to 2015 with her real life partner Enrique Gil.


She also portrayed in the films Just The Way You Are in 2015, Everyday I Love You in 2015, My Ex and Whys in 2017, Alone/Together in 2019 and the television series Dolce Amore in 2016 and Bagani in 2018. She was also known as the Campaign Asia-Pacific's most popular endorser of 2017.
