A fan and an avid supporter of the Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has showed full support to Tatay Digong after he decided to give Duterte a small gift or aguinaldo.
A man named Leno Montecarlo Cupay ordered a customized pair of sneakers in Nike after he was inspired by the photo of Duterte wherein the sole of his shoe separates from the shoe itself.
Duterte was known for his simple outfits and after he realized that the photo is already viral online, he jokingly stated that his shoe got broken after his supporters stepped on it in a campaign rally.

The said customized shoes will have "Rodrigo" and "DU" etched on the left foot and "Duterte" and "30" on the right foot. The pair of Nike shoes will be colored the same as the Philippine Flag which is Duterte's favorite color.

The pair of customized sneakers will cost this man a total of $245.25 (P11,588). And the shoes are expected to arrive on June 2, 2016.
